Grace launches the reforestation project

The Grace Forest is a capuera (low bush) forest situated next to the village of Lapetanha, near the southern border of the Surui indigenous territory.

This area was stripped from its valuable trees by settlers clearing the forest for cattle ranching in the 70′s and 80′s, before the land was given back by the government to the Surui tribe.
